I had to check to make sure the “largest office building in 40 years” at 700,000 square feet was correct.
It is. 1144 15th Street, although it is 40 stories, contains 671,000 square feet of leasable space (completed 2018). 675 15th Street, 30 stories, is only 595,000 square feet (completed 2021).
The last time a larger building was completed was in 1984 - Republic Plaza, the City’s tallest.
