While it has been exciting living in this neighborhood and seeing it grow from very little to what it is now over the last ten years, I agree that the architecture does leave a lot to be desired. It is housing and that is good given the crazy rents in SF right now. If anything, I think that this area really loses out by having been built at roughly the same time. Many other parts of the city have a very nice variety that comes from the buildings being built across a wide range of times. You can go just a couple blocks north into the rest of SoMa to see how much nicer it is aesthetically. Still, I honestly don't mind living here.
