I agree. Before the forums I had very little interest in the Hard Rock proposal, but it now seems like a real contender. I like the design of the casino at the 78 best (they are all terrible in their own way to be honest), but their numbers are the lowest and they probably have the strongest and most vocal opposition. They also have the worst location IMO. Bally’s is right near the main branch and Hard Rock is right next to McCormick and museum campus. Hard Rock would be reinforcing a corridor that is a huge tourist draw where as the 78 is really branching off to a new section of downtown that has never been a major draw for tourists.
