Went to the RIVERS 78 Proposal last night April 7, 2022
-4000 construction jobs
-3500 permanent jobs
-parking riverboat at the 78 as a temporary site possibly 100 positions
-timing depends on approvals perhaps 6 to 12 months
-5000 studens at DPI
I'll be honest, of the three (3) proposals, this one has me least interested and inspired. No real numbers shown on how it would help the city, and the meeting seemed more to be a pitch on the whole 78 development, not the casino proposal. No real interior renderings of fly-throughs.
