I didn’t watch the livestream, but reading the commentary on Twitter made it sound pretty bad in terms of opposition, might’ve received the strongest negativity of any presentation. Apparently several people there were being disruptive and basically had to be told to shut up or get kicked out. There was also a small protest outside the venue before the presentation took place.

Believe the opposition was not just for the casino but for the whole 78 development, which makes me wonder if the master plan is in jeopardy. Someone complained about the high rises being built there will act like a wall to block Chinatown off from the rest of the city, which to be honest may be the dumbest comparison I’ve ever heard.
