The $3.8 billion skyscraper, which counts Meta Platforms Inc. as a major tenant, has signed new and expanded leases with a handful of finance and tech companies in recent months including a Truist Financial Corp. business, Vista Equity Partners and ServiceNow Inc., according to a person familiar with the matter who asked not to be named citing details about the leases.

Truist, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank formed through the merger of BB&T Corp. and SunTrust Banks Inc., will shift employees to the new spot in Hudson Yards from its current space at 711 Fifth Ave, while software company ServiceNow signed a deal for extra space that will bring them up to about 50,000 square feet at the building, according to spokespeople for the firms. Buyout firm Vista Equity took roughly 100,000 square feet, according to the person familiar with the matter.

The 2.9 million-square-foot skyscraper is the latest building to be completed in Hudson Yards, Related’s $25 billion development on Manhattan’s far west side. Before construction started, BlackRock Inc. agreed in 2016 to move its headquarters to the skyscraper. In late 2019, Meta signed a lease at 50 Hudson Yards, although the tech firm paused plans earlier this year to further build out its offices at the tower. Meta also has space at other buildings in the area, including 30 and 55 Hudson Yards.
