The alderman seems tentatively onboard with a big tower here. And with a good design, perhaps neighborhood angst can be tempered? After all, the Spire survived any neighborhood NIMBY groups in this area to receive city approval. Presumably neighbors recognized it would be an iconic structure. The same could be said for this development as well if the design is top shelf.
