The tallest residential tower in Dubai, Burj Binghatti breaks ground
The hypertower is set to beat out the Princess Tower as the tallest residential building in the city

Dubai-based developer, Binghatti Properties has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its latest flagship project, the Burj Binghatti towers.
The ceremony was attended by Jacob Arabo, chairman of jewellery company Jacob & Co to mark the beginning of construction for the iconic project. According to Muhammed Binghatti, CEO at Binghatti Holding, the tower is a “history in the making within the architectural and design sphere.”
To be located at the heart of Dubai’s most eminent financial district, Business Bay, the tower comprises over 100 storeys made of lavish two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences.
Although the final height of Burj Binghatti has not been disclosed yet, we know that New York’s Central Park Tower – the structure that currently holds the title – is 472.4m high.
Currently, the tallest residential tower in Dubai, the Princess Tower, stands at 393m.
