2 bits of news on the front of 2 proposed high rises that we could see some action soon via demo permits.
1) There were 2 demo permits issued for 739 N Wells and 745 N Wells. If you remember, this is the site of a proposed 21 story high rise with 178 units and ground floor retail. Proposal called for 53 parking spaces. The 3 story building at the corner here would also go:

2) There were 3 demo permits issued for 213, 215, and 221 N May St. This is part of the 210 N Aberdeen site which will be a 19 story high rise (239 ft tall) with 414 units and 102 parking spaces.
