I used to be one of the few that thought that placing a soccer stadium in the Bronx was the best move for NYFC, but I can understand why NYFC chose Queens, and much of that has a lot to do with the large South American contingent that lives in Queens (Colombians, Ecuadorians, Peruvians, Venezuelans, etc.).

The square stadium is cutting and it's a perfect site to place a soccer stadium, especially considering that MLS stadiums don't have as much capacity as baseball and football stadiums plus it's very doable to build such a stadium in Willets Point.

Finally, since NY has a soccer team of it's own, it's time to give NJ a team by discarding the NY Red Bull name and changing it to the NJ Red Bull. Fair enough???
