I walked in unauthorized. I had business there (I have a buddy who worked at a consulate that used to be here), but there was just an unmanned desk. The elevators seemed to be basically open to anyone.

Granted, this was a few years ago. But I'd bet it would be extremely easy to explore the building. There were some blocked off floors and the like, though. The tower could be in danger of abandonment (which might be a good thing, as probably time for a total gut). It felt on its last legs, almost Wild West, like buildings in post-Apartheid Johannesburg or something.

The good thing is that tenants could stay and not be bothered without paying rent for months. It was quite a deal, if you could put up with the weirdness.
