A few years ago, Desert Viking bought many of those houses, demolished one or two, and refurbished some others. They don't seem to have followed through on whatever plan they had, though. The big structure they built on the site of one the houses they tore down remains vacant years after it was constructed. Most of the remaining houses are occupied, but they're some of the last remnants of the scrappy '00s Roosevelt Row with tenants like Bud's Glass Joint and the Lost Leaf.
