Wow I didn’t know Temecula had an historic downtown area, I’ve only passed through Temecula twice in my life.

My wife would be so jealous Chaka Khan is her favorite singer, and her claim to fame is she met Chaka and got to hang out in her dressing room. My wife started crying because she was so excited to meet her. Chaka was so nice she gave my wife a big hug and they took photos together. I like her too and I remember her first big hit with Rufus back in the early 70’s, most younger people probably don’t know but some of her best material was with Rufus, and even solo the best stuff isn’t the songs you here on the radio. Chaka has no equals when it comes to her powerful voice, unfortunately it’s changed over the years (I believe she had surgery a number of years back to remove palyps in her throat) but compared to the the artists today she’s still better than most.
