FFWD 15 years - if you take an express train between Burbank and San Jose, you will travel at 220mph the entire time except for in the long tunnels, where you'll travel about 150mph.
The approach to LA Union Station from Burbank will travel at 110mph as will the stretch between San Jose and San Francisco.
It's a shame that the LA Times and others have been so successful in muddying the public's understanding of this project.
