California's Round Table Pizza serves up first San Antonio restaurant

A California-founded pizza joint is celebrating its grand opening for South Central Texas residents. The new Round Table Pizza officially opened on Monday, September 26, giving San Antonio residents a chance to grab a slice of West Coast pizza.
"I've had over people come by and ask me, 'Is this the real Round Table Pizza?,'" San Antonio franchisee Alex Eremian said before opening the restaurant. "People came up to me and said, 'This is where I had my first date or this is where I had my birthday party.' This means a lot to people."
Eremian is one of the people that's been impacted by Round Table Pizza. He worked at the pizza company when he was younger and knows that people are craving a slice of West Coast-style pizza. He moved to San Antonio in 2019 and noticed there wasn't any pizza like he had back home. Fast forward to now, Eremian and his team are now opening Round Table Pizza's first San Antonio location.
