@BuildThemTaller : This project was launched by GROUPAMA, a French insurance company and one of the biggest in Europe. So they're loaded !
Its status is a little more advanced than "proposed" because GROUPAMA is looking for new headquarters. Also, French oil company TOTAL, is looking for new headquarters as well, their skyscraper has become a bit old by now, and they might choose this tower. Still hesitating between this one and another one under construction. So it might be under construction sooner than expected !!
Interesting to note : brexit is bringing huge amounts of workers in France, for example HSBC bank is moving 2000 people from London to its Paris headquarters. So even though TOTAL doesn't choose this tower, it'll get built anyways because more and more companies are moving to Paris.
