Also since we're talking about this area today, the former gas station at 8th & Girard that PhilliesPhan mentioned a while ago is in the process of demoing all of the buildings on the site. The property page updated to show this lot was sold in August of last year to an LLC. This is the last full block lot on Girard left to be developed and the site is huge so something big could be built, but unfortunately with Clarke's idiotic Girard ave height restriction bill they're probably limited to 3 stories on the site
