Surprise, surprise: They carried over the billable hours from their work in Asia. The E-W profile, culminating in an incomplete Gothic arch, is nicely evocative of the old tower, but those N & S elevations are fully global-corporate-firm architecture. I'm a little disappointed in Smith, who has otherwise shown a commitment to the culture of his home town, in various other respects.

This certainly isn't a bad design, and it's footprint is small enough to remain not so conspicuous, but I'm underwhelmed.
