Covid-19: Malaysia's daily vaccination doses rise to 525,342 on Aug 12; over a quarter of nation's population fully inoculated

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 13): Malaysia's daily vaccination rate increased to 525,342 doses yesterday (Aug 12), from 497,352 reported for the previous day, according to the latest data from the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF).

As a result, the seven-day moving average of daily doses administered rose to 444,120 from 442,596.

A total of 3.72 million adults or 44% of the total population of the Klang Valley had received their two-dose vaccination as of yesterday.

A total of 6.35 million adults in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya had received at least their first dose, translating into 75.36% of the total population of the Klang Valley.
