Delegates from National Panasonic Japan visited Technopark

29th June 2007 :

World electronics giant National Panasonic, Japan represented by Mr. Yutaka Nakao, Director, Mr. Tomoo Otsuka, Senior Manager, Mr. Laurent Safa, Lead Research Engineer & Mr. Hareesh P V, Advanced Technologies Development Laboratory visited Technopark on 29th June 2007. They were given a warm welcome by the CEO of Technopark, Mr. N Radhakrishnan Nair & Mr. M Vasudevan (Senior Manager- Business Development).

National Panasonic made news recently with the acquisition of Anchor for Rs 2000crores.
With the bonding between India and Japan becoming more solid, the Japanese companies are coming to the forefront in initiating business in India.

The meeting was at the operational level; the Japanese team expressed their interest in setting up a venture involving software development, chip design and chip testing. Later the guests were taken to NEST in Periyar as per their request where they were given a first hand account of how they were serving their clients in various countries, especially Japan.
