I've ridden dozens of Intamin drop towers and never had an issue. Intamin however are more than a little notorious in the industry for building rides with a lot of downtime. Unlike conservative stalwarts like Bolliger & Mabillard, Intamin really pushes & innovates. Many new ride concepts carry their logo. As a result this will be a ride to ride immediately when it's running, as it could be down for a sensor or ride computer disagree 30 minutes later, and down all day whilst on-site technicians (who will literally have to live on site) go over everything.
