that ORD precint is weird. there's only 1 tiny little section of it that is residential, up in the far NE corner, and it's entirely a gated community in suburban Rosement, not the City of Chicago.
for some reason though, that little slice of rosement gets attached to the gigantic ORD precint, which
IS in chicago proper, making it look there's this huge red 13 sq. mile blob, when in reality it's only like 800 paranoid weirdos living in a suburban gated community turning the entire uninhabitted airport precinct red.
as for the other two very conservative precints within city limits, you are entirely correct. the one 70+ red precint in west ridge is because of orthodox jews and the three 70+ precincts down in mount greenwood are because of cops and firemen.
