I used a different station to go back and ended up going a completely different direction lol so I ended up in another suburban city called Tokorozawa that has a population of 330,000. I didn't see much as I only got out and walked around the station so I could change trains to get back into Tokyo. I also got on some different train at Kawagoe cause google maps isn't always helpful and I had to pay cash on the train but it was faster than the other train and thats how I ended up in Tokorozawa.
