everyone has a different take on the good & bad. I was puzzled by your reaction more than anything else.....but ppl in LA have been too easygoing about the city for too long....that has been a problem.
MacArthur park wouldn't have gotten so bad to begin with if more ppl through the yrs had been tougher on what the city should or shouldn't do.
for example, this is far worse than the specifics of refurbished old lights in MacArthur or the color of the lower walls of the Grand Ave proj across from disney hall. Or the rusting oceanwide proj on fig st......
