It did! er..is! I'm watching it right now, and they're interviewing a woman working on Mission Bay who is explaining how they're building all the new structures to be basically earthquake-proof. With all the effort that goes into ensuring the stability of these structures (example: anchoring foundations over 200 feet underground to surpass the artificial fill and bay mud to reach bedrock), it's amazing they are building as fast as they even are. Definitely fascinating to watch. The show
and the construction, that is.
