Very. Bipartisan support, developer support, overrules burdensome municipal regulations. I think it's a sham for affordability cause it'll basically inject developer dollars into Scottsdale where they can charge the rents and other more developer-friendly cities like Tempe and Phoenix are going to lose out, but I haven't looked at the specifics of the bill. If they let builders max out with, eg, 5 over 2 construction (like the Fore project on 2nd Ave and Fillmore) anywhere construction is going to significantly shift.
Also, I noticed that the parcels across from Fore (the dumb single-story law office and the former historic burned-out house and got demo'd) got assembled in June of last year. Perfect size for a highrise, maybe 20 stories.
