Hunger Games theme park confirmed for Bartow County

A Hunger Games theme park is confirmed for Bartow County, the first of its kind in the United States.
Atlanta Business Chronicle in October reported that Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., the Santa Monica, Calif.-based studio that’s behind the popular “The Hunger Games” film franchise, was in talks with the developers of AVATRON Park.
AVATRON is a planned 700-acre amusement park just west of Interstate 75. The partnership with Lions Gate was announced on Monday.
