AOC has no involvement in Sunnyside Yards. I don't like her either but it's stupid to make her the Boogeyman for everything.
Yes, there are obviously NIMBYs against the rezoning. Welcome to NYC. The same NIMBY whiners fight every single rezoning over the last 50 years. Eventually the rezoning will pass with some stupid giveaways so the politicans can say they got a win for the "community".
