obemearg - see my post in this series, Number 53, of the architectural, plan which says that a portion of the wall is to remain from the previous building. The standpipe is part of the wall pictured in my photo, the sole purpose is for historical reasons, and I have no idea what history it is. I have spoken to two people on the job site who confirmed what is pictured has no other purpose other than as an artifact.
