Initially I didn't like 167 N Green because I thought it was too bulky, and then I was skeptical of 900 W Randolph because it felt too tall. But you throw this in the middle and now it looks like a perfectly proportioned 'second' downtown. Beautifully illustrated in the presentation:

Same is true with a lot of 'firsts' in a new neighborhood/city I suppose. Like Sears tower was and 432 Park in NYC before they built they other skinnies.
