For a province that is overwhelming composed of immigrants, or children of immigrants, it's pretty hard to have a shared cultural identity. It makes sense to me, then, that multiculturalism would have a greater resonance here.

I think my question becomes this: Do you think a shared cultural identity that a majority of Canadians identify with should be a goal we aspire to? Something we should be interested in pursuing?
