It would look good in SLC if the spire was not apart of the building if it were in SLC. The spire only works if it's the tallest building in the city. If that building were in SLC it would just be considered a "fill in" type building. It would be on the lower end of the height scale for SLC buildings. I think the same thing about buildings in LA. I think about how those older 14,15, 16, story buildings down town LA are kinda forgotten. If they took one out of their skyline no one would notice, but In Salt Lake, even at that level, it would be noticeable. I like it with the spire. I really like the lighting they added.
