St. Catharines & Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario - Garden City Skyway

This is one of my favourite bridges. It isn't the best looking bridge, but that isn't what makes it so cool. What makes it so cool is it's size, location, and shape. When you are driving along the QEW and get closer to the bridge it looks so massive, and the curves of the bridge just add to that massive look. The location is cool because once you get to the top the views are amazing.


"Six lanes of traffic are carried across the bridge, which is 2.2 km (1.37 miles) in length and 40 metres (131 feet) at its tallest point. It is the tallest and largest single structure along the entire QEW; the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway, which is also part of the QEW, is actually two separate and smaller four-lane bridges." - Source
