Montreal | Bonaventure Bridge Redevelopment Project | 7,500 units.
Finally, a big and bold proposal/vision for this downtown area. Of course, anything can change between now and once it is approved. Hopefully the city on Montreal does not turn it into a 3,500 unit, 10-floor, majority social housing project ghetto.
**MTL peeps, feel free to add anything I missed** Players: Devimco, Broccolini, Mach, Coprim. Current proposal includes. 1. 5 million square feet of development 2. 7,500 units (1400 family units, 20% social/affordable housing) 3. A cleantech cluster (the city wants about 6,500 workers in this area) 4. $2.5B investment 5. Will be linked to the REM. https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/6287...3572_pole1.jpg https://files.elfsightcdn.com/808925...ameUrbaine.jpg https://uploads.agoramtl.com/optimiz...2_880x385.jpeg https://smartcdn.gprod.postmedia.dig...=564&type=webp https://www.visionbridgebonaventure....content=vision https://montrealgazette.com/sponsore...sustainability |
huge project. Great improvement over the former dead-man's-land.
