I'm thinking they mean.. will *we* ever end up doing anything like that around here?... Halifax and Manchester are a fair distance apart from eachother (60 or so km) :P

I see what you mean, with the roof feature. The overall design does look like something from Lyons MacKay Sweetapple.

It looks like the Southport development down by the Barrington St. Superstore, except a bit taller (of course).

The under construction photos look interesting... way more so than the final result, which the renderings make look pretty bland.
