If I'm not mistaken, the women's hospital is no longer a proposal, and you're missing a few projects. The hotel at McPhilip's Street Station and several of the HSC projects (diagnostic imaging, Mental Health Crisis Response, Cancer Care Manitoba expansion, new energy plant, etc). Oh, and also, the proposed redevelopment and expansion of the ED at Grace Hospital.

a few corrections other wise, bang on job 1ajs!!! There might not be any new super tall office towers going up, but there's a ton of construction! (also, in addition to what jmt mentioned, you left out the bomber's stadium) And just how long have those Assiniboine condos/boutique hotel been proposed for?? At this rate Hertiage landing is gonna have a twin under construction before those get started |
The stadium is there, it's just hiding at the front, and doesn't seem to have a picture...and I had no idea there had been that many Winnipeg Construction threads.

Great list of current and upcoming projects. It seems like just a while ago we had started the previous thread... I'm pretty sure Sunstone has put the Dennistoun project on hold indefinitely...

The neatest one in recent memory was the twin residential tower proposal on Main (not even that old...circa 03 or 04 proposal was made). Had that gone through, Main would look very different today. |
I would make a few changes to the front page.
- Rock n Roll HOF is DEAD - The condos on Assiniboine are as good as DEAD - Dennistoun might be "on hold" but might as well be dead in its latest rendering - The "Iceberg" rendering is outdated and will look nothing like that - St. Charles Hotel is DEAD - The WRHA Hargrave office deserves a new picture - The new Women's Hospital is "Under Construction" - It's L-I-B-R-A-R-Y not "lybrary" - Plaza not Plazza - "Bloc 10" not Block 10 - The Boyd Medical Redevelopment should be removed. Other than a few pictures you found, nothing has ever been announced. Some missing projects - WRHA Birthing Centre at St Mary's and St Anne's. - Condos being built on Whellams Lane - HSC Urology Lab - HSC Kleysens Institute for Advanced Medicine |
