You can also get a great view of it from the small bit of Hudson Park at the 34th Street Subway (7 Train) entrance/exit. |

It seemed like the foundation and covering of the rails along with the subsurface work took the longest. But the whole district is coming alive. I'm guessing once tourists find out about this it will be one of the most photographed things in the city, sort of like the Chicago Bubble. That's a bad ass photo looking down to the bottom, like an MC Escher drawing.

i sincerely hope they are prepared for the logistical nightmare its going to be managing the crowds on this thing--timed (free) ticketed entry is the only i can imagine this not turning into a disaster.
