Looks like it's finally shutting down. Doesn't sound like an imminent land sale or something like that so I wonder what the future holds for this space/lot?

It is a killer location for something bigger! Sorry to see a fun local business shutter.... wish they would relocate instead.

Agreed and sounds like he owns a similar concept (coffee + record store) on 48th St and Thomas

Not surprising that land is way too valuable for a niche record store, landlord probably raised the rent to be unaffordable or told them they arent going to renew the lease.

I hate to see the store go, but that land and building were disgusting. It looked like a crack house.

Being vacant isn't going to make it look like less of a "crack house".

It's probably going to be an expansion to the sub station.

I was under the impression they wanted to move the sub station? Thought I had read that about a year ago. It's already a thorn in the area. I hope it's not expanded.

I tried Dog Haus once at its Yuma location. It's pretty good -- sort of like a chain version of Short Leash. Since Short Leash left downtown for Melrose, I guess Dog Haus will fill that niche.

No mention of the opening of Block 23 later this year which might be one of the most crucial developments to happen downtown in years.

There's a coffee shop going in at colliers center at 3rd st & Washington. I belive it's called coffee company but don't quote me.

I walked by The Link today to get a closer look at its progress. It's topped off, there's more glass going in, and there are some more colors appearing.
