Phoenix Sky Harbor

i would do this myself if I lived in Phoenix all year but I am there sporadically only now. If I missed this I apologize but I don't see a Sky Harbor thread.
Can someone go there and take photos of the rehab work and new construction of terminal 3? For whatever reason (maybe security) the airport itself on it's site shows a nice mock up video but no updating photos of the construction.
I think it would be great to show that and the upcoming construction of concourse 4 on south side of terminal 4 and the continuation of the Sky Train Construction to the Greyhound depot/ Rent a Car Facility all of which should start very soon. Thanks in advance for either directing me to existing info or starting a new thread. And yes I do realize they have a Facebook Presence but there again very limited on what photos they are showing.

All Sky Harbor related posts are usually found in the Metro Phoenix Transit/Transportation thread. They were some updates pics along with links to AZ Central articles/coverage that show exterior/interior shots of T3

^---So it looks like they are going all the way to the sidewalk?

That's the largest digital photo ever posted on the Internet since its inception.

It's an archival quality image for when we have $10 wall-sized retina displays in the future. Shame it couldn't be larger.

Which project is that again?

Urban Living on 2nd Avenue. 6ish story affordable housing project from Native American Connections.

I was still kinda hoping for an answer to if they are going all the way to the property line/sidewalk or not instead of leaving that little 20' sliver of grass?

You guys are going to make me drive all the way down there after work to find out, aren't you? :sly:

LOL it’s a bad angle but it’s still not going to the end of the sidewalk.

I don't know how to resize photos.

There's a space about 20' wide between Fillmore and the building.

gymratmanaz Apr 6, 2018 6:17 AM

What's 20' wide..... the space on Fillmore or that picture? :)

biggus diggus Apr 6, 2018 2:15 PM

Fix it for me

Fixed it!!

You just need to put the letter "L" after the file name (so in this case it would be imgur.com/ADfZF1xl.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/ADfZF1xh.jpg

You can also put the letter "h" to make it larger.

That is enough space for a small apt./retail project like the little complex off Roosevelt and 3rd street.

combusean Apr 6, 2018 11:45 PM

It's the size of an average 50x150 Phoenix lot.

I'd love to know how you could both park something there and activate the lower floor.
