Does BCBS have an observation deck?

Edit: I just realized that was probably for Open House Chicago

Yeah, I made the rounds on Saturday. I have the full photo thread in My City Photos. The view of the South Loop is a wild scene compared to 10 years ago.

Love how those 3 U/C buildings fill in some of the gaps in the skyline from these angles

I will be visiting my parents in Orland Park this winter and I always remember being able to see one museum park from the 143rd St. Metra station I bet you could see NEMA as well I'm excited to check it out!

Another setback - note how the column on the right ends at this point, the one one the far left will continue up.

AWESOME updates Harry.

I was eating at MingHin in Chinatown on Sunday (10.21), when I turned around and chanced upon NEMA creeping over the plaza's green roof. Climbing higher every day.

This is the first photo I've ever seen that shows the original intended effect of OMP appearing like multiple towers. Thanks to NEMA. Having a different tower at the Michigan Avenue corner will enhance this even more from some vantages. I'm glad they haven't started the second Vinoly tower - hopefully that goes away even though this one looks fantastic.

I love how the design sort of wraps around itself like a spiral staircase

I never noticed that little protruding balcony thing, that is such a cool little feature

It's actually the pool, funny that everyone was shitting on that design feature when they first saw it. Personally I think it's awesome and it will certainly help lease some of the hundreds of apartments in here.

Looks like there's around 10 to 12 more floors to go until it's topped out. Anybody know around what date that would be?
