Here's a link to my Google Drive for anyone that wants to read up on the docs (includes renderings): https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...Bn?usp=sharing

Edit: Went back and looked at the specs and it looks like it was proposed at 235'.

Thanks for kindly helping a bunch of brothers out, Crested

We just got a set of plans to bid for work to finish the outdoor space. looks like someone is going to open it after all

Not sure I've mentioned this, but I have seen occasional people walking around PBS the past few weeks scoping out the building. Also, the graffiti was removed from the main entrance a couple weeks ago.

Glad you are confirming my haunch that someone is going to be working on this again.

I mean, its a basically ready-to-go bar with a great location in a city that not only sailed through the Pandemic fairly unscathed (Economically) but is coming out the other end growing faster than ever before.

Kind of surprising if it didnt get scooped up by somebody tbh !

An Amendment Review was submitted for PBS on 3/12. The amendment states the following:
Quote:

Remodel of an existing 14,958 SF 1-story entertainment center / restaurant / bar with 3,776 SF outdoor patio. Existing patio
area with perimeter fence enclosure. Disciplines involved are Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Landscape and
Kitchen Equipment Contractor
The plan description says "Flagship Phoenix", but the project description still says Punch Bowl Social. Checked the Punch Bowl Social website and it list several cities opening locations soon, but Phoenix is not listed. Sent them an email to see if Phoenix is still on their list of locations to open or not. Will post if they reply to my inquiry.

I don't exactly know how phoenix assigns KIVA numbers, but I do know they'll reuse them from prior projects which might have a completely different name then what the thing is called now.

Just found out today that Phoenix is working on implementing the KIVA system into ProjectDox. I inadvertently got this information during a records request which turned out to be a dummy review to test the ProjectDox system. Not sure when it will be implemented, but you can access the page at https://www.phoenix.gov/pdd/onlinese...ic-plan-review.

It requires an account to view anything which I signed up for. But not much there and I don't know how the public will able to look up reviews as it looks like you need to submit a project to have access to project documents. I'll try to keep checking up on it.

^ My take on the above is that it’s only for builders.

What’s the 10-15 story building under construction near St Luke’s Hospital?

combusean Mar 19, 2021 6:44 AM

^ New county hospital. Right next to the old one.

For the most part, it's done. It looks really good when walking by.

Diamonddave Mar 23, 2021 1:06 AM

1Q a week of being complete has there been any ground breakings for downtown? I believe there's only been one midtown.

Sky on 6th has the construction lot up and is doing some minor site work. May not be a official, but I consider that a ground-breaking. Also, the 7-story container project broke ground a few weeks ago next to the Cobra Arcade building.

Diamonddave Mar 23, 2021 1:42 AM

Thanks for the update Crested. I completely forgot about the container project

The two restaurants there, Spoonz and M'ole, have reopened after a closure during the most intensive part of the renovations. I hope others come to activate the space.

The Monroe Bar & Lounge just began utilizing their new patio space along 1st Ave too. There is still some utility work being done on 1st Ave, but it looks like the actual building renovations are largely finished.
