Don't be a rude little child, the lot I asked about, and thought you were referring to, is also across the street from the art museum. |
@sky51 thanks for the pictures, there sure is a lot going on up and down 7th and 12th isn't there?

"In addition to @51, Smithfield recently completed the architecturally acclaimed Domus apartments. They have also been selected by the city of Phoenix to develop a 35-story residential tower in downtown Phoenix, known as Central Station." |
I just looked at the @51 website - looks like a great property but it's expensive! Starting at $1,210 for a studio seems very steep, and in the $2,800 range for a 2 bedroom - at those prices you could live in 44 Monroe.

They are the bums behind domus, which started out very expensive and has since come back to reality.

^ What's wrong with it? It's steel-framed and not stucco with great curb appeal, which is extremely rare for Phoenix.

Roosevelt on 5th
Was looking around on the Phoenix Plan Reviews site and came across some info for "Roosevelt on 5th" at 504 E Roosevelt (which I believe is that small vacant lot right next to Artisan Village)
It mentions a 3 story mixed use building (13,487 SF). Tomecak Design is listed as the contractor. Their site appears to be down, but saw this on a cached version. Not sure it's the same project (or if this is something old), but if so this sounds like it'd be a great addition for that lot: Roosevelt 10 Location: Phoenix, AZ Description: Ground-Up Multi-Family Lofts located in the Arts District of downtown Phoenix.5,000 sf of retail, 10 one-bedroom units above with a sky deck. Area: 10,000 sf I don't think I've read anything about this. Anyone know anything? |

Does anyone remember the small project that was proposed for 2nd Ave right behind the new YMCA - Cooper Place? The most recent permits on the City of Phoenix website are from early 2014:

I haven't heard anything about the project in about a year and this website says that it was supposed to be finished in February 2015. |
