I noticed that as well. Small lot, so I assume it’s gonna be fast food, but I’m just guessing.

I think someone here mentioned it was gonna be an NAC residential project.

The Pressroom has moved to Tempe, and the county has bought their old building.

Wow, that was a nice walk. Thanks for all the great pics Dave!

Excellent work. Thank you.

Lots of good progress on these. X looks so much nicer on the street level now that the garage is covered. I think Mercer/Fillmore and Aspire look nice as well as they move along.

Hyatt Place got no love from here but it looks absolutely great.

Agreed. Love the touches of metal detailing... Frank Lloyd/art deco'ish.

I mean, I think most of us were hoping for at least a 30 story building, where the Hyatt Place is located. It just seems like a missed opportunity to help boost the profile of our city skyline. So you can definitely include me in the jaded department for this project, but having said that it looks nice.

So I normally lurk on here every morning just to see what's up and can't say I remember seeing something on this or not.

The Donnelly Financial Solutions bldg (SW corner of Central and McDowell) has fencing up all around it. Anybody have info on what's going on?

Maybe it's been there a while and I just now paid attention. Sorry in advance if that's the case.

I heard this was being marketed for sale for a new mixed-use development. Probably a 5 or 6 story apartment similar to the Muse and Circa.

The site is listed for sale, my guess is the tenant/owner finally vacated and they need to secure the site.

The building is definitely still serviceable and I wouldn't be surprised if they had a high hold-out price to represent what they have--both the building and the land. Unfortunately the last thing the downtown office market needs is 53,000 square feet coming online. It's been on the market for a year, I would be surprised if this one moves anytime soon.

Demo permits were pulled about a month ago...if this goes through, hopefully the lot won't sit vacant for awhile.
