Ptomaine Tommy's (unrelated) supposedly invented the chili burger in the 1920's in Lincoln Heights.

Both Phillipe's and Cole's P.E. Buffet claim to have invented the French dip sandwich in the early 20th Century.

It looks to me like the photo of the three Mrs. Hong's was taken in the back yard of 1039 (the house next door). Notice that the detail around the 2nd floor windows matches, as does the underside of the roof eaves. The details of the entryway and first floor windows of the house has changed over the years, but it also looks to be the driveway in which Jr. showed off his Ford. Maybe a simple clerical error in noting the Hong's address?
