Had a long day at work today, but I liked the way the sky looked this evening. Very pink(didn't show up well in the photo tho :/ )

Great shots, BonoboZill4! It's great seeing the progress from that vantage point.

Thanks, I should be getting a better camera soon(this weekend if I can find the time) and then the pictures will make a nice bump in quality.

^I’m sure they got winded out. It was very windy yesterday downtown. I would think they will try again next weekend if they can make it without conflicting with the core all week.

Yeah that must've been it

Went by this Saturday night. Is it weird that it already feels big?
Also saw them practicing the Art on the Mart light display. It's going to be amazing.

Nah, I've definitely been thinking the same thing every day I see it. It feels especially large from ground level

9/25

One of the photos was a bit blurry, and I didn't see that until I got home... There's always tomorrow to take a better shot

I think the crane will be higher tomorrow. I'll have shots for that ;)

As you can see they didn't raise the crane yet... should jump up near 100 feet when it does.

I liked this picture(river looks so beautiful with the reflections), but I want to know what I can do to get a clearer photo at night. Should I do longer exposures? It looks fuzzy when I just take still shots

It's very easy to accidentally shake a camera when taking a picture, which will usually cause pictures taken under 1/125 to be blurry. Therefore, Clear night photos almost always require a tripod. Longer exposures will get you more light in the photo, but without a tripod everything will be blurry.

Note: When I'm too lazy to carry a tripod when shooting, I just set my camera (Canon 30D) on top of something flat and that usually works.
