For instance 1326 S Michigan (Walsh) has a 5-day cycle versus Essex (Adjustable) at 3-day for similar size floor plates. NEMA (McHugh) once they passed the final setback and got to a similar size floor plate as those two projects also is on a 3-day. I'm not sure how big the WPE floor plate is when they get to typical floors, but I would expect their cycle to be a little longer than if one of the big concrete guys was doing it.

Is it ever a price issue? Would they move faster/more workers, if the price went up. I realize the floor plates have to settle but just asking?

Interesting, is this just bc of a lack of expertise or manpower?

This shot really puts the size of the lobby into perspective. Its gonna be impressive. No wonder these first few levels have seemed to drag. They're huge. But the core looks close to a hundred feet above river level already so its not moving all that slow. As has been stated this baby is gonna fly once the floorplates are uniform

This building is only a few stories tall and it already has commanding presence when you approach it from the Franklin bridge.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this site to me is one of the best stages to display buildings in North America. I really hope that the South Tower gets some height addition because the site would show it off so well.

Getting WPS to supertall height is definitely a dream of many a Chicago forum member, myself included. Such a prominent and highly visible site demands no less.

Really beginning to rise now that they are past the complex below grade garage levels. Thanks for the shots, Solar!

Not quite yet - but see all those tables in the 3rd shot - when those get into play.

I love the new bookend this one's creating from a bunch of vantage points. Gives us a really good sense of how dense it will all look when the south tower is built.
