Damn Harry, one of the best sets I've seen from you. That last one with the worker bleeding and not caring is awesome. Same with the barge shot and clocktower.

Because any place worth living is also a place worth visiting, and the inverse is also true.

Then take the extra 2 minutes to walk to the Orleans street or Kinzie street bridges. We don't need to spend tens of millions of dollars on a fucking ped bridge that is less than a block from two well functioning ones that already exist. Let's live in the real world for just a moment please. If someone wasn't willing to check out Wolf Point sans a ped bridge, then they aren't going to check it out with one. I don't even see how we are having an actual discussion over the merits of a ped bridge there :uhh:

And the multi billion dollar project to wall off the Apparel Center from the river continues... money well spent, IMHO.

;)

This makes sense when talking about cities, towns, neighborhoods, or even homes. But when talking about a riverwalk and/or pedestrian bridge...

I can already tell that this one will be one of my top 10 to come out of this cycle with how it'll cap multiple street canyons, add to the river canyon, and just look downright gorgeous. Another gem for us to enjoy.

Of course. I was responding in general not in relation to this specific instance.

Stopped by the site on the morning of the 4th, popped back over today in hopes of getting some action shots.

Great pics Nick!

Unfortunately they too clearly show the base of this tower taking form and it is terrible. Way too busy. The tower is fine after the first few floors.
