Not going to lie, but doesn't Fitness power kind of make you think that just maybe its another account from Something Fast? I just find it odd how they are always supporting each other..

I appreciate the accolades, but let's keep the thread to its track.

Thank you.

Yeah, your opinion is just that.

Here are the facts of the matter:

This thread is Phoenix Development News for a reason. He could have had that conversation in one of the other threads, not that anyone would have engaged him in it.

Complaining about a lack of 600 foot buildings is NOT development news, even if were possible to do that downtown. That a conversation ended up about a 2 story development is background to the actual issue at hand--he started complaining after news was released about twin 275-foot buildings, burying the entire conversation about that.

And he continued to complain after REPEATED warnings, kept on trolling, kept on antagonizing forumers that raised issue about his posts, and also injected city-vs-city comparisons which are SPECIFICALLY forbidden on this site.

This was also a complete rehash of pretty much the same thing that I also had to deal with not too long ago.

And I didn't ban him, I gave him a 10 day suspension so he can calm down and learn to respect the rules.

I think I was more than patient with him after all this.

Finally, literally nobody is going to take your side on this. I have surveyed people here and the results were that they're overwhelmingly satisfied with the job I'm doing--if anything I should be stricter but I hate being a cop.

You can be a fair judge of my moderation capabilities after you've been here 14 years and have 150 times the number of posts you do or you start compensating me for my time here.

The point I am trying to make is on the he was essentially discussing his opinion on city planning and got suspended. While I agree that doesn't belong in development news and should be in the general discussion forum, about 75% of these posts also are not development news (including this one) as well.
While I don't necessarily disagree with the temp ban of that member, he would immaturely flip out on everyone who had a different opinion. I just disagree with banning him for bringing up that topic which a lot of people including myself are interested in.

It's subsidized housing (Urban Living on Fillmore) by Native Connections.

Hello, friends. It's my day off, and I had to get outside after doing my taxes. Here are some progress shots of The Stewart, Hampton Inn and Block 23. There's also a bonus at the end.

Stewart: Still working on the eighth and ninth floors, but more exterior work is being done.

A lot more glass and walls are up.

The view from First Ave.

The Hampton Inn is nearing completion. A few nights ago I saw lamps on inside and a bright strip of LEDs on the facade. I didn't have my tripod, so no photos.

Block 23 is a big hole in the ground.

A big hole with what appears to be the start of an elevator shaft.

BONUS!

I found this schematic for the ninth floor of The Stewart. It was on the ground across the street. I intentionally left this image big so you could get a better look.

According to their Facebook page, that gold is not the final color, just weatherproofing material.

I like the Hampton Inn. Has anyone heard anything about the residential portion of the project?

They filed a preliminary site plan review in January, which went before Planning & Development earlier this month. So appears to be in the works.
