SB obviously didn't kiss his ring before going public, like he actually cares what replaces the Amtrak garage. It's not going to matter here since there is no way that Rahm will let him screw over SB and put the Union Statiom redevelopment and an enormous potential property tax stream at risk. He may be able to fuck over other developers if they don't play by the usual rules but not these guys.

And seeing as this has to do with a financial benefit to a company dealing with national transportation, I wouldn't mind seeing the mayor stand behind the project and in front of the alderman regarding these RFP's.

I'm curious seeing how much weight JLL plans to throw around with the help of Jeanne Gang and Cesar Pelli.

I absolutely ***love*** the fact that something of this height and presence will be on the west side of the river.

How about we scrap this plan and build all four proposals surrounding whatever building Reilly lives in to block out the sun at all times. Of course, the only problem with this plot is the children.
