saw this a few days ago. it's really a beautiful tower. one of the best proposed imo.
the V for Vietnam/Vietinbank, the diagonal roof, the solid corners, and the skygardens dividing that awesome facade! they work together perfectly to make a solid office tower. good for hanoi! |
very new update about this project!:)

ah mod! can you move it to "Supertall",also edit the title:D
this project has 68 floors 363m tower and 48floors 250m tower!:) |
It's so isolated from the general skyscraper population in Hanoi. I say it'd look like quite the thing if it's located right next to the Keangnam Hanoi Landmark towers. At least it would help to improve and make the skyline look more attractive
|
Nice skyscraper. The V roof-line will make this a Hanoi and Vietnam icon.

That looks like a rebar cage for a shoring wall. They're going deep!

In December 2018 it was reported that the bank was trying to reduce its exposure to the project. Either by selling the whole thing and then leasing back part of it, or selling part of it and retaining one of the two buildings.
see here The major partner was an Indonesian property company. Knowing the way things work in Vietnam and Indonesia, probably neither party was honest with the other. The Singaporeans pulled out, that says a lot. As fast as Vietnam is growing, it looks like the bank bit off more than they could chew. |
